North Carolina County and District Profiles

These profiles offer local overviews of the federally-funded School Breakfast Program and Summer Nutrition Program in North Carolina. They are a great way to introduce yourself or others to what these programs are like in your area.

Use them with a school administrator, elected official, or community member to start a conversation about what is going well and what still needs to be done when it comes to feeding children in your district or county. The profiles can help reveal gaps in efforts to fight hunger, and provide context for how efforts compare to the rest of the state.

For questions about the profiles, contact Graduate Research Assistant Jessica Soldavini, MPH, RD, LDN.
